Who are you?

As Technical Sales Specialist, you will play a key role in bridging customer needs with technical solutions. This position combines technical expertise with commercial insight to deliver exceptional support and drive growth in custom product solutions. You will manage technical sales projects, provide advanced technical support, and ensure service excellence across our European operations.

Your Responsibilities:

Technical Sales (Specials)

  • Translate customer requirements into custom product specifications.

  • Handle special product requests and projects from initial inquiry to delivery.

  • Administering and monitoring specials projects in Salesforce.

  • Collaborate closely with commercial stakeholders, internal and external.

  • Prepare technical specifications, manage approvals, and monitor project progress.

  • Negotiate pricing with suppliers and maintain special product pricing lists.

  • Collaborate with R&D and manufacturing teams to ensure feasibility and quality.

Technical Support

  • Provide second/third-line technical support to customers, installers, and internal teams.

  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to lighting fixtures, controls, and smart systems.

  • Develop and deliver product training for internal teams.

  • Maintain and enhance technical documentation and knowledge management systems.

Job requirements

What We’re Looking For

  • Education: HBO Bachelor level in Electrical Engineering or similar.

  • Experience: Strong background in technical sales and support, preferably in lighting or building management systems.

  • Skills:

    • Advanced English communication skills (Mandarin is an advantage; other European languages are a plus).

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Salesforce; familiarity with DiaLux and Adobe tools is a plus.

    • Ability to read technical drawings and electrical diagrams; hands-on experience with electrical networks.

    • Strong commercial sense for B2B pricing and project risk management.

  • Personal Attributes: Customer-focused, problem-solving mindset, excellent organizational skills.
