Job description

Are you interested in further expanding our lighting business as a “Key Account Manager Belgium”?

Then you might just be the person we are looking for!

The Key Account Manager is responsible for managing and building relationships with strategically important customers, including national installers and buying groups. You will act as the link between the customer and internal teams, ensuring that customer needs are translated into commercial opportunities and solutions.

There is also a responsibility for developing and executing the company's commercial strategy. You are the first point of contact for the sales team and, together with the sales team, ensure the achievement of turnover and growth targets. You will provide structure, guidance and coaching to the team, and be actively involved in key accounts and strategic customer relationships yourself.

Job requirements

Core responsibilities

  • Act as the first point of contact for wholesale partners and ensure optimal cooperation.

  • Identifying growth opportunities within accounts and wholesale channels and proactively advising on suitable products/services.

  • Drafting and implementing account plans and sales strategies targeting wholesale partners.

  • Coordinate with internal departments (such as marketing, logistics and supply chain) to optimise the availability, promotion and resale of products through wholesale channels.

  • Monitor performance within the wholesale channel and analyse sales data.

  • Report sales results, forecasts and market insights to management.

  • Maintain and further develop long-term relationships with existing and new key account installers.

  • Lead, motivate and coach the sales team to achieve commercial objectives.

  • Developing and implementing the sales strategy and annual plans.

  • Analysing market developments and customer needs to identify opportunities.

  • Preparing sales budgets, forecasts and reports for management.

  • Responsible for sales growth, margin improvement and customer satisfaction.

  • Maintain relationships with strategic customers, including key accounts and wholesalers.

  • Working closely with marketing, product management and logistics to increase commercial strength.

  • Oversee correct implementation of pricing policies, contract agreements and commercial processes.
