Job description

Are you interested in further expanding our lighting business as a “Business Development Manager”?

Then you might just be the person we are looking for!

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assess the market potential and build a business case in collaboration with the Manager

  • Business Development Europe and other stakeholders involved in the expansion in Sweden.

  • Increase sales activity with existing strategic partners.

  • Find and develop new customers (installers, contracts, end users).

  • Partner with customers through a strategic and consultative sales approach comprehending

  • their business needs and priorities to deliver a value-added business solution.

  • Report projects in Salesforce.

  • Be the Sweden reference for trainings to customers.

  • Be the Sweden reference for the BLE system and present it to customers.

  • Meet the targets and actively work with budget.

  • Gather and analyse market information and communicate with Opple stakeholders.

  • Manage internal relationships between channels and departments.

Job requirements

Skills and Experience

  • Knowledge of the Lighting Industry.

  • Combined experience in business development, sales and marketing.

  • Good technical understanding.

  • Customer focused with a passion for excellent customer service.

  • International business acumen and with persuasive sales skills have the ability to lead, inspire, partner, and positively influence collaboration, drive results and achieve desired outcomes.

  • Have both long-term thinking and a practical, hands-on mentality.

  • Clear verbal presentation and written communication skills.

  • Experience with Microsoft programs like Excel and Word.

  • Experience with Salesforce is a plus.

Education

A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Sciences (or comparable technical training, further education and long-term experience).

 

Languages

Fluent Swedish and English.
